We do truly custom web design work

Many designers start a project by trying to select an existing web site template, and then modify it to fit your business. Sometimes the fit isn't very good, and the ability to fine tune it is limited. Template sites are also more likely to look like other sites, perhaps even competitive websites. We take the opposite approach.  In most cases, we develop a new layout for your business, from scratch.  We design a few prototypes and then tweak one based upon your feedback.  When you are satisfied, we turn that prototype into your own custom template, designed specifically for your business.

The company was founded in San Diego by award-winning web designer and Creative Director, Nina Burkhart. Her web design skills are complemented by over 10 years of business and technical service experience with large and small companies in the medical and health care field. She has been designing websites since 2000.

In addition to earning a certificate in internet publishing, Ms. Burkhart holds a B. A. degree in biology and B. S. in medical technology. She is a licensed medical technologist with experience in hospital, laboratory, clinical, commercial, and private practice settings. For several years she provided field technical support for computer based medical diagnostic equipment.

Ms. Burkhart has been designing websites since 2000. She has won awards for web design, graphic arts, and as tech service specialist. See our web site portfolio.

Internet marketing and business development is led by Art Burkhart. Mr. Burkhart has over 20 years of high tech marketing and business development experience. He has held global business and technology management positions with major corporations and started up new product lines which have generated over $100 million in sales. Prior to co-founding Savvy Sites, he was VP of global marketing for the semiconductor unit of Henkel, a $10 billion German technology firm.

Mr. Burkhart holds a B. S. degree in engineering, has authored over 30 publications, and won industry awards for advertising & new product innovation. Current responsibilities include development of new services, strategic partnerships, search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click campaigns, and email marketing.
